Job summary

Ulta Beauty in Buena Park, CA seeks a Task Lead to deliver operational excellence and support sales drivers while maintaining store standards.

You will oversee merchandising, inventory counts, and process compliance, while training and guiding Task Associates to achieve peak performance and guest satisfaction. The role involves collaboration with the leadership team and involvement in omni-channel tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent education.
• Ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve.
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for operational excellence.
• Experience in exceeding tasking goals and training new hires.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s retail goals by ensuring all tasks are executed as planned and product is available for purchase.
• Meet compliance and execution goals related to task dashboard and ensure the timely completion of all operational processes, including shipment and replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory counts and procedures.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
• Contribute to an inclusive environment that supports teammates, peers, and guests.
• Regularly participate in ongoing training to enable development and drive sales.
• Assist in training of new Task Associates and cross-training of others.
• Lead as a communicator and influencer to achieve peak productivity.
• Collaborate with managers and associates to grow the business.
• Be knowledgeable of and ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty policies and standards.
• Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, and inventory procedures using Ulta Beauty practices.
• Support omni-channel processes including BOPIS and Ship From Store.
