Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development in Kennett Square, PA. You will assist with day‑to‑day activities and help maintain a welcoming, well‑stocked store.

Responsibilities include opening and closing procedures, merchandising transfers, payroll and scheduling support, loss prevention, and coaching Store Associates to deliver friendly, safe service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain store areas, front displays and stockrooms to company standards.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits/receipts.
• Coach Store Associates and ensure a safe, respectful environment.
• Protect company assets including store cash.
• Follow policies and safety guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
