Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Perkasie, PA. This part-time role focuses on store operations, customer service, and team development.

You will assist with day-to-day activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and support opening/closing procedures, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling. Prior retail leadership is preferred, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping and bending.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect assets and ensure safety policies are followed.
• Support the Store Manager in training and development of associates.
