Qualifications

• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical duties (standing, walking, climbing, lifting).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Assist in organizing and transferring merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional storefront fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record-keeping and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and organized store areas to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies.
• Help store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
