Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Georgia to support a customer-first, well-organized store. You will assist with supervision, merchandise presentation, deposits, and store tasks under the Store Manager's direction.

Responsibilities include leading customer service, scheduling, training, planogram execution, inventory control, cash handling, and ensuring security and loss prevention while maintaining profitability and assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to operate cash register and scanner, and interpret store procedures.

Responsabilités

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet customers and operate the cash register and scanner.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling employees, training, safety meetings and policy compliance.
• Manage merchandise flow: receiving, stocking, rotating displays and planograms.
• Assist in inventory control, damage/markdowns, and cashier accountability.
• Assist in maintaining cash control, deposits and bank transactions.
• Support Store Manager in absence of the Store Manager.
