Job summary

Five Below is seeking a qualified store leader in Brenham to wow customers with a fast, friendly checkout and personal service. You will train crew, oversee daily activities, assist with receiving and stocking, and serve as Manager on Duty when needed to oversee operations and staff.

You'll open/close the store, secure cash, and support onboarding and ongoing training while driving sales and managing expenses through merchandising and service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and remain composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members wow the customer through personal contact.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience for fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures quality service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock on the floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, handling store operations and staff management.
• Manages opening or closing the store, including cash and security procedures.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and product knowledge.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses through merchandising and service improvements.
• Partners with store leadership on merchandising procedures and recovery.
• Performs routine store maintenance and keeps the stock room organized.
