Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, deliver exceptional customer service, and develop the team in a fast-paced retail environment. You will assist with daily store functions, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling while upholding company policies.

Responsibilities include supervising and training Store Associates, maintaining a clean and safe store, and ensuring merchandise is well-organized and effectively displayed to maximize sales.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize, transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain areas of the store, including a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom, to company standards.
