Job summary

Evansville Goodwill Industries, Inc. is seeking a Store Key Holder to support daily store operations and staff development. This full-time role focuses on customer service, inventory control, and accurate cash handling while ensuring a welcoming environment for donors and shoppers.

You will work closely with the Store Manager to guide a team of employees and volunteers, maintain compliance, and contribute to Goodwill’s mission in Evansville. Excellent communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Reliable transportation for travel between Goodwill sites.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Employment offer contingent upon drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-tier customer service in collaboration with Store Manager and Assistant Manager.
• Oversee product logistics: sorting, pricing, stocking, and accurate cash handling.
• Train, supervise, and develop team members; conduct audits and implement improvements.
• Oversee store operations: scheduling labor, supplies, branding, security, and donations.
• Maintain clear communication, hold store meetings, track counts, and ensure timely deposits.
