Job summary

Evansville Goodwill Industries, Inc. is seeking a Store Key Holder to support daily retail store operations and lead a team of associates, volunteers, and clients. The role focuses on customer service, inventory management, cash handling, and staff development in a full-time, hourly capacity.

The position requires strong communication, basic computer skills, a valid driver’s license, and a drug/background check. Earn $15.25 per hour with a 40-hour workweek and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office products.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation for travel between Goodwill sites and Goodwill auxiliaries.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Employment offer is contingent upon the successful completion of a drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Store Manager and Assistant Manager to provide top-tier customer service and manage inventory.
• Oversee product logistics, including sorting, pricing, stocking, and using equipment like pallet jacks, with accurate cash handling.
• Train, supervise, and develop team members, and conduct audits to implement improvements.
