Job summary

Kimbrell’s Furniture is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, credit functions, and team performance. You will drive operational excellence, ensure credit compliance, and develop team members while delivering exceptional customer service.

Leading a results-driven team, you will foster accountability, professionalism, and a positive store environment with a focus on community engagement and showroom standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in retail preferred.
• Experience with sales, customer service, and/or credit or collections processes preferred.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds and operate company vehicles as required.
• Bilingual English-Spanish ability may be a plus based on store staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Support overall store operations, ensuring adherence to policies and performance expectations.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members to achieve sales and customer service goals.
• Provide performance feedback and assist with employee relations, including coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Supervise operations and staff in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Ensure high-quality customer experience through service, showroom presentation, and merchandising support.
• Drive sales growth through customer engagement and promotional support.
