Kimbrell’s Furniture is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, credit functions, and team performance. You will drive operational excellence, ensure credit compliance, and develop team members while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience leading store teams and overseeing daily operations.
• Experience in sales, customer service, and credit/collections processes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate company vehicles when required.

Responsibilities

• Support overall store operations following company policies and performance expectations.
• Lead, coach, and develop team to achieve operational, sales, and customer service goals.
• Provide performance feedback and assist with employee relations, including coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Supervise store operations and staff in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Ensure high-quality customer experience through professional service and merchandising.
• Assist with showroom organization, product placement, and clean, sales-ready displays.
• Drive sales growth through customer engagement, promotions, and community involvement.
• Oversee credit and collection processes in compliance with policies and laws.
• Assist with customer account management, contract negotiation, and documentation accuracy.
• Maintain financial controls including cash handling, deposits, and recordkeeping.
• Ensure proper handling of customer information in privacy compliance.
• Support administrative functions, reporting, and daily store organization.
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment and assist with light merch tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
