Dollar General in Wyandotte, MI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run a clean, customer-focused store under the Store Manager's direction. You will supervise team members, assist with merchandising, and handle deposits and paperwork to protect assets and drive profitability.

The role emphasizes frontline leadership, scheduling, training, planogram compliance, accurate inventory, and strong cash-handling procedures.

Competenze

High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
One year retail experience and six months supervisory preferred.
Ability to manage money and operate cash equipment.

Mansioni

Provide customer service leadership; operate cash register and scanner.
Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
Assist Store Manager with scheduling employees, training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
Follow processes to manage merchandise: receiving, stocking, restocking and displays.
Maintain inventory accuracy by controlling damages, markdowns, scanning, paperwork and controls.
Implement and maintain planograms; ensure presentation per standards.
Ensure financial integrity through cashier accountability and cash controls; sign refunds/overrides, count tills, deposit money.
Assist with management in the Store Manager's absence.
