Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Customer service and cash handling skills are essential for daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet customers and operate the cash register.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling and training of employees; conduct safety meetings and ensure policy compliance.
• Follow processes to manage merchandise: receiving, stocking, rotating, and building displays.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by controlling damages, markdowns, and paperwork.
• Assist in planogram implementation and display maintenance under Store Manager direction.
• Ensure financial integrity through cashier accountability, deposits, and cash controls; authorize refunds/overrides.
• Assist in store management in the Store Manager's absence.
