Job summary

Five Below is hiring for an hourly supervisory role focused on delivering WOW customer service and running daily store operations. You will train staff, oversee duties, and manage opening/closing tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of management experience and strong communication skills, with flexibility to work day/evening/weekends, including overnight shifts if needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring a fast, friendly check out experience.
• Oversee the daily activities of all store associates, ensuring they perform duties effectively and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, and urgent issues.
• Manage opening/closing the store, securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and daily readiness.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses via merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance (garbage, sweeping, bathrooms, stock room).
