Job summary

ALDI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in New York to help supervise day-to-day store activities, manage staff schedules, and develop actionable plans to drive performance. The role includes ensuring product quality and accurate signage, while upholding store standards and customer service excellence.

The starting wage is $27.50 per hour, with a planned wage increase to $28.50 per hour in Year 2. This is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities for growth and training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a retail environment or similar role.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and develop a team.
• Ability to interpret company policies and manage payroll and inventory.
• Compliance with state/local requirements for handling alcohol (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Assist with supervising day-to-day store activities.
