Job summary

FiveStar is seeking an Assistant Manager to partner with the General Manager in Bowling Green, KY. You will help oversee daily store operations, including accounting, marketing, customer service, HR, and food service, while directing and supporting the store team to meet company policies.

Responsibilities include training staff, merchandising, inventory control, pricing, promotions, and safeguarding store finances.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail management experience or equivalent education.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
• Team player, customer focused, honest, hardworking, and excellent attendance.
• Basic Computer Skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with General Manager to manage overall store operations.
• Assist in accounting, marketing, customer service, HR, and food service.
• Train and develop store team; ensure policies are communicated.
• Oversee inventory levels, merchandising, pricing, and promotions.
• Ensure inventory control methods are in place and labor budget followed.
• Assist in safety and robbery prevention guidelines and store paperwork.
• Support food operation oversight and maintain food service standards.
• Act in absence of General Manager and learn P&L statements.
