Job summary

FiveStar is seeking an Assistant Manager in the United States (Kentucky region) to help manage day-to-day store operations under the General Manager, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to company policies.

The role involves supervising staff, training the team on procedures, merchandising, inventory control, and assisting with P&L awareness. A high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of retail management experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing overall store operations under the General Manager.
• Serve customers in line with company policies and procedures.
• Participate in training of store team and educate on policies.
• Monitor merchandising, inventory levels, pricing and promotional signage.
• Support labor budgeting, staffing and safety protocols.
• Oversee food service areas and maintain food quality where applicable.
• Learn and understand P&L statements.
