Job summary

FiveStar Food Mart is seeking a General Manager for our Kentucky store. This role oversees all store operations, including customer service, staff supervision, and daily accounting tasks. You will partner with the team to ensure policy adherence and successful service delivery.

The position requires strong management, a transparent approach to training, and the ability to maintain inventory, pricing, and promotions while meeting labor budgets and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of retail management experience or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations and staff to ensure policy compliance.
• Collaborate with team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Train store staff and ensure adherence to procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels, pricing, signage, and promotions.
• Review P&L statements and implement improvements.
• Maintain safety and loss-prevention guidelines.
