Job summary

Family Dollar in Brenham, TX is seeking a part-time associate to greet customers, help with merchandise selection, and process transactions. You will help maintain inventory, stock shelves, and support store operations to ensure a welcoming, well‑organized shopping environment.

The role involves assisting the Store Manager, opening/closing duties, and providing excellent customer service. A high school diploma and flexibility for weekends are preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent.
• Experience: Prefer management experience in retail, grocery or drug store environments.
• Availability: Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Physical: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (up to 55 lbs occasionally).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with merchandise selection and checkout.
• Maintain a clean, stocked store and manage inventory accuracy.
• Assist Store Manager with daily activities and operational tasks.
• Open/close duties in absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
