Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage is seeking a Store Operations Associate to manage stores within the district, delivering strong customer service and maintaining property standards. The role involves daily tasks from customer interactions to leasing, payments, and basic maintenance.

Candidates should have a positive, outgoing personality, experience in customer service, and the ability to work Saturdays. Access to a vehicle and valid driver's license are required. Equal opportunity employer.

• While performing the duties of this job, you will be frequently required to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb or balance on a ladder.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing POS, completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.
• Physical tasks include daily walks of the property, cleaning units and store grounds, opening/closing storage doors up to 50 lbs.
• Maintaining a clean and safe storage facility meeting company guidelines.
