Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Willowick, OH seeks an Assistant Store Manager to help run day-to-day operations, assist customers, and support the team on the sales floor and stockroom. You will help with opening/closing procedures, merchandising, and ensuring store standards are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred and should be able to read and interpret directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor while maintaining seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays and ensure store standards are met.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
