Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily functions, help customers, and maintain a clean, organized, and well stocked store.

Responsibilities include opening and closing procedures, merchandise transfers, scheduling, loss prevention, payroll, and fostering a welcoming, safe environment for customers and associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
