Job summary

Family Dollar in Weleetka, OK is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run store operations, support customer service, and develop the team. You will assist with daily tasks, organize merchandise, open/close procedures, and ensure compliance with company policies while maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment.

You will contribute to achieving sales goals, training staff, and delivering a high standard of service in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Assist in merchandising, stock organization, and seasonal displays.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives, maintain records, and support loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and stockroom.
• Protect assets and ensure policy compliance.
• Help supervise, train, and develop store associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment.
