Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Oklahoma LLC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Responsibilities include opening/closing, merchandising, payroll and scheduling, and ensuring policy compliance.

You will work in a fast-paced retail environment, coordinating with leadership to maintain inventory, execute promotions, and safeguard assets while upholding safety and service standards for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
• Must be able to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Move merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and cash handling and directives.
• Maintain displays and ensure promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering, processing damaged merchandise, and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, organized store and safe environment.
• Support Store Manager in supervising and developing store associates.
• Ensure compliance with policies and safety guidelines.
• Protect assets including store cash.
• Other duties as assigned.
