Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Part-time Assistant Store Manager in Union, New Jersey. You will assist with daily store operations, help customers, and support the Store Manager in supervising and developing Store Associates.

This role involves merchandising, scheduling, and ensuring a clean, organized store environment. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in store management or retail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail or similar environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Team-oriented with ability to develop and supervise associates.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store operations and customer service.
• Help organize and stock merchandise on sales floor and stockroom.
• Support opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and cash handling tasks.
• Help supervise, train, and develop Store Associates while maintaining a positive environment.
