Job summary

Dollar Tree in Leechburg, PA is seeking a Part-time Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day functions, organize merchandise, and help supervise associates to ensure a positive, safe shopping environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and answer questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise between delivery, stockroom, and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Keep store areas well-stocked and organized.
• Protect company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and train/store associates.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Provide a positive, safe environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, restrooms, floors, and waste management.
