Job summary

Dollar Tree in Everett, PA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager on a part-time basis to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily activities, help organize merchandise, and uphold store standards while maintaining a safe, friendly environment.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, handling directives, supervising associates, and contributing to loss prevention, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred and readable operational directives may need explaining.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Strong physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform walking, standing, bending and repetitive motions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Assist in organizing, transferring merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a neat store and clean stockroom per company standards.
• Protect assets including store cash and follow safety policies.
• Help supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
