Job summary

Five Below, Inc. is seeking a capable leader to join our store team as a manager-on-duty. You will oversee daily operations, supervise associates, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience for every guest.

This is an hourly role with starting pay at $15.80 per hour, requiring flexibility for day, evening, weekends, and occasional travel. You will assist with receiving, stocking, and merchandising, open/close procedures, cash handling, alarms, and staff development.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and ensures fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily store activities and staff performance.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking shelves.
• Act as Manager on Duty handling store operations and issues.
• Open/close store routines including cash, doors, and alarms.
• Support onboarding and training of associates; drive sales and control expenses.
• Partner with leadership on merchandising and store upkeep.
