Job summary

Walmart Inc. in Huron, SD seeks a store leader to develop and coach teams, teach training, listen to associates, and guide store operations with a focus on customer service and continuous improvement.

You will drive financial performance, manage budgets, oversee merchandising and inventory flow, and lead change initiatives while upholding Walmart values and a culture of belonging for all associates.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, I acknowledge that the position may require successful completion of a firearms-specific CBC and training.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, and setting expectations.
• Provide supervision and development opportunities, ensuring a belonging mindset and promoting talent growth.
• Coordinate activities and relationships with stakeholders to meet customer and business needs and measure progress toward results.
• Drive customer service initiatives, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the store.
