Job summary

Walmart in West Point, MS is seeking a Store Manager for WM Supercenter #115. This full-time role leads and develops teams, drives store performance, and ensures exceptional customer service in line with Walmart standards.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
• For facilities that sell firearms, CBC and Firearms Training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching training and actively listening to associates touring stores and providing feedback.
• Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing PL statements and managing expenses.
• Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training and mentoring.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and supports mission, values and ethics.

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University
