Job summary

Walmart in Waveland, MS is seeking a store supervisor to coach and develop hourly associates, oversee daily operations, and drive exceptional customer service. You will hire, train, mentor, assign duties, and promote a culture of belonging while delivering strong store performance.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, CBC and Firearms Training may be required.
• Associates must attend and complete job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings).

Responsibilities

• Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring; assigning duties; promoting a belonging mindset.
• Leads and develops teams by teaching, training, and listening; touring stores and giving feedback; implementing business solutions and communicating objectives.
