Job summary

You will drive sales and profitability by reviewing Profit & Loss statements, budgeting, forecasting, controlling expenses, optimizing merchandise presentation, inventory flow, shrink reduction, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, acknowledge that CBC and firearms training may be required.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching training and actively listening to associates touring stores and providing feedback.
• Drives the financial performance and sales by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses.
• Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training and mentoring.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and supports ethics and integrity in daily operations.
