Job summary

Walmart in Cordova, TN is seeking a Store Leader to drive teams and deliver outstanding customer service while managing store operations. You will lead training, set expectations, and mentor associates to align with Walmart's One Best Way service model across all levels of the organization.

The role emphasizes financial stewardship, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, alongside ensuring merchandise presentation and inventory flow to meet sales goals.

Qualifications

• 2 years of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, CBC and training may be required.
• For facilities that sell ammunition and have state requirements, a current state Certificate of Eligibility may be required.
• Associates must attend and complete all job-required training and assessments (Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, listening to associates, touring stores and providing feedback.
• Ensure customer service standards and resolve customer issues using the OBW service model.
• Drive store financial performance by overseeing PL, budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses; manage merchandise, inventory, and operations.
