Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage in New York is seeking a Store Operations Associate to manage and maintain stores within your district. You will combine customer service with property maintenance, rent units, process payments at the POS, and support daily operations.

You’ll interact with customers face to face, meet monthly sales goals, and help keep the facility clean and safe. The role offers daytime hours, competitive pay, PTO, and a 401(k) match to support your financial future.

Qualifications

• Positive, outgoing personality with passion for helping people.
• Experience delivering high-quality customer service to a diverse market.
• Self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
• Ability to work Saturdays and Sundays.
• Frequent physical activity including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Developing customer relationships by identifying storage needs and providing solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Renting units, selling store merchandise, managing leasing, accepting payments via POS, completing daily deposits, and making courtesy calls regarding late payments.
