Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily tasks, help customers, and ensure the store runs smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Team environment and customer-facing roles experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize merchandise and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain store fixtures, displays, and promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Keep sales floor and stockroom well-organized and stocked.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Assist Store Manager in training and developing Store Associates.
• Provide a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
