Job summary

Five Below in Houston, TX is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will supervise a team, oversee opening/closing duties, cash handling, and safety, while ensuring staff accountability and effective communication with customers and management.

You will manage stock placement, displays, promotions, and signage in line with corporate guidelines, while training associates and maintaining inventory integrity to support store

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Two years of management experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock to ensure items are quickly and efficiently placed on the sales floor.
• Manages the setup and maintenance of displays for specific store sections, ensuring signage is accurate and promotions are highlighted.
• Manages opening or closing the store, including cash handling, locking doors, setting alarms, and daily operations.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations, staff, and customer service.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates to improve performance and policy understanding.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Executes the market plan by arranging products and signage per corporate guidelines and maintains Inventory Integrity.
