Job summary

Five Below in Linden, NJ is seeking an Store Manager on the hourly team to oversee receiving, stock placement, and store displays. You will manage opening/closing routines, cash handling, and daily operations while leading customer service and staff performance.

You will drive sales, optimize merchandising, and ensure promotions follow corporate guidelines. A High School Diploma and at least 2 years of management experience are required; college experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for fast floor placement.
• Manages setup and maintenance of store displays and promotions per guidelines.
• Handles opening/closing duties: cash, doors, alarms, daily readiness.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, supervising staff and customer service.
• Supports onboarding and training of associates on store policies and operations.
• Drives sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising and service quality.
• Executes corporate inventory and signage standards.
