Job summary

Belk in Richmond, Kentucky is seeking a Merchandising Team Manager to lead a team of associates in store operations, merchandising, and facilities to deliver a positive customer experience and drive sales.

This exempt role partners with operations, visual merchandising, and selling teams to ensure accurate product placement, pricing, and signage, while overseeing inventory, inbound/outbound deliveries, and staff development.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Visual Merchandising or Retail Management.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work nights/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team in store operations, merchandising, and facilities to drive sales.
• Oversee inbound/outbound deliveries, replenishment, and inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate front-of-house and back-of-house activities to optimize floor presence.
• Collaborate with selling and visual teams to maintain planograms and merchandising standards.
• Plan weekly leadership workload and allocate labor using planning tools.
• Coach and develop associates; manage performance and recognition.
• Recruit and onboard staff; support talent development.
• Ensure asset protection, safety, and inventory controls.
