Job summary

Five Below in Gallup, NM is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead daily operations, manage a team, and ensure outstanding customer service. You will oversee stock, displays, and promotions, while driving sales and maintaining inventory integrity.

A hands-on leader with strong communication skills and the ability to train associates is essential for success. The role requires at least 2 years in management, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work a flexible schedule

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred but not required.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and think creatively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversees receiving, unpacking, and organizing stock for quick shelf placement.
• Manages store displays, signage, and seasonal resets following corporate guidelines.
• Opens/closes store, secures cash, doors, and alarms for daily operations.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, overseeing staff, customer service, and urgent issues.
• Supports onboarding and training of associates to improve performance.
• Drives sales and controls expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
• Executes market plan with product placement and updated signage.
