Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Merchandise Manager to lead store operations, drive top-line sales and manage inventory with a focus on guest experience. The MM reports to the Operations Manager and oversees a team of Task Associates, ensuring execution of replenishment, omni-channel activities, pricing changes, and markdowns.

The role emphasizes accountability, coaching, and process discipline to achieve APGs and maintain excellent store performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1–2+ years of fast-paced retail management or related experience.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience interpreting reports and managing payroll budgets.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic store environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote accountability to meet store goals for sales, service, payroll, omni-channel, and shrink.
• Drive profitability through operational excellence and top-line sales growth.
• Schedule optimization using forecasts and payroll budgets.
• Lead a culture of operational excellence and guest engagement.
• Train and develop associates and provide feedback and coaching.
