Job summary

The Merchandise Manager at The Michaels Companies Inc. drives merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards.

This role ensures accurate pricing, timely promotional execution, and a customer-ready store environment through strong workload planning and inventory management. Based in Lake Grove, NY, you will lead inventory control, planogram implementation, and staff coaching to uphold standards and drive in-stock

Qualifications

3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Lead truck execution, ensuring timely unloading and efficient flow of merchandise to the sales floor.
Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization routines to drive in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
Oversee Planogram (POG) execution and maintain visual merchandising standards.
Provide MOD coverage and maintain service standards and operational continuity.
Manage inventory control, pricing changes, and promotional signage.
Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and RTV/ASN processes.
Support asset protection and shrink reduction through proper training and supervision.
