Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Merchandise Manager in Emeryville, CA to drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards. The role requires strong workload planning and inventory management to maintain a customer-ready store environment.

You will lead with Store Manager, ensure pricing integrity, promotional execution, and efficient backroom operations while managing team performance and training across departments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance.
• Oversee truck execution, unloading, sorting and flow to sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Manage Store-In-Stock Optimization (SISO) to drive in-stock levels.
• Oversee Planogram (POG) execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Ensure pricing accuracy and timely promotional execution.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and RTV/ASN processes.
• Maintain store cleanliness, backroom and floor readiness.
