Job summary

Staples, Inc. is seeking Merchandising & Inventory Supervisors to drive sales floor standards, inventory accuracy and strong customer service. You will lead a small team, coach associates and coordinate front-end operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule based on store needs.
• Strong merchandising and retail operations understanding.
• Experience coaching a team or supervising others.
• Ability to engage customers and understand their needs.
• Ability to multitask with limited supervision.
• Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds, climb ladders, stand/walk.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate and efficient inventory controls: Zero Balance, Return to Vendor, Return to Warehouse, Cross Channel Returns, Reserve online pick up in store.
• Unload, sort, stock products and maintain stock levels.
• Execute weekly planograms and seasonal promo merchandising changes.
• Deliver exceptional customer service.
• Engage customers with basic selling skills and present solutions.
• Maintain a neat, inviting store environment.
• Perform front-end duties: cashier, returns, online reservations.
• Lead store when scheduled as Manager on Duty.
• Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.
