Staples in the United States seeks a Merchandising & Inventory Supervisor who leads sales floor merchandising, signage standards, and back-room operations while coaching a team. This full-time role emphasizes collaboration, customer service, and a fun, team-oriented culture with immediate hiring.

You will manage inventory controls, unload trucks, stock shelves, execute planograms, and handle front-end duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule based on the store’s needs.
• Understanding of merchandising and retail operations.
• Experience managing and coaching a team and/or supervising others.
• Ability to engage customers and understand their needs.
• Ability to multitask effectively with limited supervision.
• Lift/push/pull up to 100 pounds, climb ladders, stand/walk continually.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment.
• Manage conflict professionally.
• Honesty and integrity in handling information.
• Preferred: key holder experience.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate and efficient inventory controls: Zero Balance, Return to Vendor, Return to Warehouse, Cross Channel Returns, Reserve online pick up in store.
• Execute product activities including truck unloading, sorting, stocking, and maintaining stock levels.
• Execute Weekly Planograms and seasonal promo merchandising changeover.
• Deliver exceptional customer service.
• Understand and utilize basic selling skills to engage customers.
• Provide an inviting environment by keeping store neat and clean.
• Perform front end duties such as cashier, returns, and online reservations.
• Provide store leadership when scheduled as Manager on Duty.
• Be flexible to perform other duties as assigned.
