Job summary

Michaels in Seattle is seeking a Merchandise Manager to guide merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, stock routines, planogram sets, and visual standards. Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in SOPs and company programs compliance.
• Ensure policy execution and store condition ownership by team.
• Provide MOD coverage, maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting and flow to sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute SISO routines to drive in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee planogram execution and ensure on-schedule merchandising sets.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and initial product placement.
• Support a clean, organized and customer-ready store environment.
• Manage inventory control, product accuracy and stock movement.
• Execute ad sets, pricing changes, and ensure promotional compliance.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and ASN receiving.
• Manage store damages procedures and shrink reduction.
• Train, coach and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Partner in Asset Protection practices to reduce shrink.
