Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution at the Fairfax location. You will oversee truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards to ensure accurate pricing, timely promotions, and a customer-ready store environment through effective workload planning and inventory management.

The role requires strong leadership, day-to-day store management, and collaboration with the Store Manager to maintain high service standards

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs to ensure legal compliance.
• Ensure execution of company policies, maintaining store conditions and results.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty (MOD) coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Lead truck execution, unload, sort, and flow merchandise to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Oversee in-stock routines, replenishment accuracy, and sales readiness.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Support a clean, organized, customer-ready store environment.
