Job summary

The Michaels Stores Washington, MO location is seeking a Merchandise Manager to lead merchandising and store operations, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets and visual standards. You will ensure pricing accuracy, promo execution and a customer-ready environment.

You will partner with store leadership to plan workloads, manage in-stock levels, and coach team members through onboarding and development while upholding SOPs and asset protection policies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandising and store operations including truck processing, inventory routines, and planogram sets.
• Ensure accurate pricing, timely promotions, and visual merchandising standards on the sales floor.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain service standards and operational continuity.
• Oversee truck execution, stock flow, and replenishment to the sales floor.
• Plan workloads and daily tasks with store leadership to meet business needs.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization routines to improve in-stock levels.
• Manage Planogram execution and visual merchandising presentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized store environment including backroom and floor.
• Control inventory accuracy, shrink reduction, and stock movements.
• Run ad sets, price changes, and Ship-from-Store fulfillment.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with proper documentation.
• Train and coach team members through onboarding and ongoing development.
• Uphold Asset Protection practices and safety.
