Scandinavian Designs I Dania Furniture in San Rafael is seeking a Store Manager to lead a sales team and ensure outstanding customer experiences. This exempt, salary role combines hands-on leadership with strategic planning in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will oversee sales processes, training, scheduling, inventory, and store operations, with uncapped commission on personal and store sales. The position starts with a training wage, then a base pay with performance incentives.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Management experience in customer service, retail sales, interior design or consulting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and create satisfied customers through honest, knowledgeable, and ethical selling practices.
• Maximize sales growth, manage a team of sales associates, sales managers, and warehouse staff in a commission-based environment.
• Communicate a compelling vision and operating plan with enthusiasm to your team, customers and community.
• Provide training and coaching on excellent customer service with a positive, consultative approach.
• Lead by example to cultivate a positive atmosphere aligned with the company mission of top customer and team satisfaction.
• Become an expert in products and services through self-led and company-led training.
• Set energizing sales goals and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Process sales including cash, credit, and refunds; use POS for orders and deliveries.
