Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents as described in store procedures.
• Strong cash handling knowledge and the ability to generate reports from IBM cash registers.
• Experience recruiting, hiring, and training staff and ensuring compliance with policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and pricing according to standards.
• Manage inventory including damages, markdowns, and paperwork; conduct inventories.
• Follow prescribed ordering to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide customer service leadership and act as a store role model.
• Participate in opening and closing the store; ensure funds are deposited securely.
• Maintain clean, safe, well-stocked stores and a safe environment for customers and employees.
• Review operating statements to identify trends, expenses, and shrink; address errors.
• Complete all paperwork according to guidelines and deadlines.
