Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Recruit and retain qualified employees in compliance with federal and state labor laws and company policies.
• Provide proper training for employees; conduct performance evaluations; identify gaps for counseling or termination as needed.
• Make recommendations regarding employee pay rate and advancement.
• Communicate performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinate meetings and events.
• Open and close the store on schedule; ensure staffing levels.
• Evaluate operating statements to identify sales, profitability and inventory trends.
• Manage inventory and forecasting to meet in-stock targets.
